The private pool was perfect and romantic. Strogili private room with pool was amazing. staff helped my boyfriend decorate the room for me & the staff left us with a free champagne & a birthday card !! I loved it so much they made my birthday dream come true.

An excellent hotel, on a beautiful island, in a small town that offered everything we required

The reception, breakfast, bar and cleaning staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they are a credit to the hotel. Our suite was very clean and comfortable, with lovely cold air conditioning. The hotel itself is first class and its location is perfect for Kamari, as everything the town has to offer is within walking distance. The town's main bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the bus will get you to the island capital Fira, which is the main hub for buses all around the island. There are also plenty of car, motorcycle, ATV and scooter rental options in and around Kamari, if you don't want to use the bus, which the hotel can provide info on if you need it. The hotel is a very short drive from the airport and they can arrange transfers for you if required. (they did this for us and it was faultless) Overall, I am glad we stayed in Kamari and i am very glad we chose the Strogili hotel

As has been mentioned in previous reviews, getting a sunbed around the main pool is a first come first served practice. There are simply many more rooms than sunbeds available. We didn't use the main pool ourselves, as we had one of the suites with a private plunge pool (which i would highly recommend). The only other thing of note is that planes landing at the airport fly directly over this end of Kamari and you can hear them throughout the day. This wasn't a problem for us, but may be for some.

Amazing, one of the best hotels weve ever been too and will be back!

Beautiful, close to the beach and bars and restaurants. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming with excellent service. The cleanliness of the hotel is the best Ive ever seen, and this is something Im very particular about. Modern and well maintained.

I would say that breakfast could be improved slightly. There is minimal seating at busier times and the food wasnt constantly replenished. There is also quite a lot of steps and no lifts etc though I think most places we visited during are stay are the same.
