Disappointing

Very disappointed, need more food and drinks options

Location was good, it had to be as there was a need to find food, as the hotel didn't have anywhere to eat

Lights in room didn't work and were confusing, turned 1 light on another went off. rooms are dated, never enough milk for coffee, mini bar almost empty, this is supposed to be a 4* hotel. Came down for coffee next morning to be told the room is closed we are setting up for a lunch, Well DON"T keep advertising BARISTA COFFEE if you're not going to serve it

Very friendly staff even in busy times.

The noise on the road at night. Groups of people would yell into the ams. Bathroom was very small, fridge not working well, no bathrobes. The pool was extremely small too.

The interior of the hotel was fine and we also dined at both restaurants.

Room location was great facing the park for views.

The lack of police presents on the street to move people along that were in groups and harassing young women walking down the street, throwing glass bottles on the road, holding up traffic on the road, swearing loud enough to hear 17 floors up and with the window shut till 3am 4 nights that we were there.My wife didnt feel safe to go out on her own to shop.

I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and I have never in my life received a more inhospitable welcome than I did today from a young lady at the front desk. She seemed to be what can only be disgusted that I had made my booking through bookings.com I even wanted to book another room to add to our original booking she was not at all helpful and even recommended I book my extra room through bookings.com which I did for $60 cheaper than what she quoted me). Gone are the days when front of house would have welcomed another sold room. I have also worked in the industry her attitude was appalling and I will not be returning. Not that she could care less. She allocated me a room that was looking a at brick wall this room was booked three months ago. The extra room booked on arrival had a beautiful view of the city, there is no way they were at 100 occupancy her allocation was clearly a power play. I called in the morning to ask about on site parking at no stage did anyone mention a cost. When I arrived and asked where parking was she informed me it was $30 come to find out $5 dollars more than stated on the room information sheet she handed me. I highly recommend she is transferred to a back of house position. In a positive note I received a call from Ben the manager with 8 hours of giving this feedback he was extremely professional and appeared very genuine and wanting to resolve the issue which I appreciated. Unfortunately the damage has been done we spent just shy of $600 at the hotel and we will not be returning.
