Very good

Fully stocked coffee/tea in the kitchen. Central to all area within the city, few blocks away to Bus Terminal. Helpful staff at the counter. Picked up the room. Got both wall fan and an aircond. Locker and comfy bed. Fresh towel and bed linen. Best bang for your buck.

Bathroom is not in a very good condition, but acceptable. Wifi not very strong near where I stayed and disconnects most of the time during the day.

50% of the blind in the dorm is missing. Unless you own an eye mask you face a very early wake up call. I arrived during appropriate check in hours, I rang the bell and received no response. On the front door are 3 numbers you're instructed to call in the event you require someone's attention and are having trouble entering the premises. Not a single one of them worked! Thankfully the receptionist returned to her desk and I was able to enter. The message writing on the wall is a nice touch, but it's not much of a suprise the flattering comments are from several years ago. The sofas aren't so nice to sit on and you can forget about the TV working. The free sliced bread is a nice touch, what would be great is if you can also provide a toaster.

no breakfast. location is easy to find. the linen was given when u checked in. they will call you to ask when will you check in

the fan is not clean. kindly inform us when and what time that you are not available for check in (i.e. staff going for rest). the water pressure is low and the soap was not topped up

the receptionists were friendly and helpful, they helped me a lot during my stay. the facilities are okay-ish since you cant really complain much for the price you paid. ahahaha. overall the room is very nice, spacious and comfy. 110% will repeat again if i ever come to kuantan in the future.

Done with Malaysia

It was cheap

This is typical hostel accommodation for Malaysia. It was old and dirty, not looked after. The bathrooms were unhygienic with showers and toilets mixed together so the toilet seat is always wet. This is the worst thing about Malaysia for me because it's so easy to make a functional bathroom instead of having someone elses brown bum gun water on the floor and toilet seat. Also the disgusting shared bathroom flip flops... yuk! I don't mind taking my shoes off to go into a mosque or temple but to walk barefoot on a filthy floor - no thanks! After nearly 3 months in Malaysia I have had enough. I'm not surprised the tourist industry is broken here. Hopefully it will get better in the future but until then Malaysia is OFF my list... won't be coming back! And the way people drive here... so primitive and stupid.
