An excellent hotel in a perfect location

Spatel dAnnam Boutique Hotel What a lovely hotel for us to enjoy at the end of our trip to Vietnam. We selected this hotel for its reviews which were so positive as well as for its fantastic position, close to the Royal Imperial Palace. Our room had a mezzanine with the bed upstairs and the bathroom and sitting area downstairs. We have been so fortunate during our travels to meet the staff who make the accommodation so pleasurable. We had the most wonderful welcome from Tu Trinh on our arrival. She explained clearly all our options for our stay and provided a very helpful map to get to and from the night markets, some of the historic monuments and the city centre. Arriving on New Years Eve we shared a special set menu dinner. It was a very happy affair where we met other guests and had a chat with the manager of the hotel, Dang Nhan and Ms Ly who so kindly guided my wife through the options for a coeliac. We enjoyed our stay. They took care to provide gluten free options each morning at breakfast, and my wife enjoyed a relaxing massage at the spa. On our departure we were farewelled as life long friends. These wonderful people who took such beautiful care of us during our stay will stay in our memories for ever. We will certainly return to once again enjoy the hospitality and kindness of all at the Spatel dAnnam.

Beautiful spa hotel

Beautiful hotel and the restaurant had some of the best food on our trip so far. Our room looked out on to the pristine pool which was perfect for a dip. Trang gave me a brilliant massage and the staff were really helpful and recommended places to visit and sorted a driver. Good location for the citadel but sadly the main palace was under refurbishment and there wasn't as much to see as we'd hoped. Only a quick hop or grab ride over the river to the nightlife. Would recommend!

Lovely place to stay if you want quiet and plan to visit the local Nguyen historical site

A small single storey hotel. Rooms are well presented and fitted. Nice decor. On site spa. Quiet.

Nothing. Only negative was that we had a major unavoidable overnight water leak in the toilet area due to broken joint but it was not a disaster and contained to the bathroom area and was dealt with promply the next day.

Nice location great cafe great staff not much a fan of the big window glass

The location the staff also their cafe served great coffee!

I didnt like the fact that the hotel itself is kind of in the middle of the road and the room has a big window glass that if yoh dont close the curtain people can actually see your room.
