Cozy Stay

Staff were friendly, they pack breakfast for you if you were checking out before 730am. The room was cozy from the light touches of wood and bamboo furniture.

The bathroom had a drainage smell from the lack of natural ventilation.

Good 3 star hotel with a pool in the heart of the old town.

Somwang is a decent 3 star hotel with resonably sized, clean rooms, super comfortable bed (9.2 for the bed) and a fantastic location in the heart of the old town.

Be forewarned that when they say they have parking spaces, they have 2 (TWO) parking spaces! Make sure you inform them if you need parking (I did and had no problem). There is no lift (elavator) and my room was on the 3rd floor so ask for a low floor if you have mobility issues. Apart from that, all good.

Great location

Good location. Lovely big room, nice breakfast. Staff very friendly. The pool looked nice, but I didn't use it. Free use of washing machines and good sized fridge in the room.

There was nothing I didn't like, but had booked this hotel because they were supposed to have parking. We ended up parking on the street. It wasn't a big deal, but maybe for someone else, this might be important.

Quiet, clean and comfy.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was sufficient . The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed with a doona . The pool is lovely but mostly shaded. The location is fantastic.

Shade on the pool , its sunny in the morning . The room has no balcony, and your outside area is shared .

A really nice boutique hotel, I would definitely stay here again on any future trip

Great location, easy to walk to restaurants, shops and historic sites in the city. The breakfast was always great, a nice atmosphere and good variety of nicely prepared choices. Very nice, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Delightful pool. Clean room. Theres even a couple of self-serve washing machines and a large area of drying racks on the top floor.

Great value boutique hotel in a perfect location

Amazing breakfast included in room price, we loved the fresh fruits every morning, the cooked options were great too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, rooms had adequate amenities including bottled water that was refilled every day. Good location, within walking distance to Tha Phae Gate, but tucked away in a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle - no noise at night!

Ants in my room but maybe that was a thing for tropical places?
