A bad experience at the end

I like the food and pool. but its in the wrong area as I was mugged and 3 other guests weee top and someone was stabbed to death at the disco next door

Loud, noisy, and 3 star rooms

All the staff

Roof of hallways leaking on to floor. Half the rooms facing on to and next to very load night clubs that go on to 5/6 am. Had to pay 25 euro a night to move to a room that wasn't next to late night club

Value for money

I come to tenerife almost every winter and lived in a lot of 4 star hotels in playa de las americas. Sol Tenerife is definitely the most value for money even though its facilities are bit outdated. Its location is super and staffs are lovely.

The heated pool

I didnt like the fact that we did not get a wink of sleep. My daughters cried at night because they couldnt sleep. They are 11 and 13. It was not a holiday.

Disappointing

The food was great and the pool area and rooms were clean.

The staff wasnt friendly and they shut our room keys off one day before we were supposed to leave. They didnt even apologize. The room was really old and the music from the strip was so loud that it was like we were clubbing while sleeping.

Well priced, accessible but not ideal for young families.

Walkable distance to centre, right on the beach and great access. Hotels is pleasant and clean.

The location of the property next to Veronicas isnt great, if you have young kids or even want to sleep then its not for you. Music, screaming etc till well past 4am. Maybe Im just getting old
