The place to be in Inverness

Last time we stayed in central Inverness never again, this is the place to stay plenty parking clean warm rooms food is first class, staff are excellent, will definitely be back. And you are helping one of a few real local businesses

There is nothing we didn't like about the Smithton hotel it looks a little dated but don't let that stop you well worth going to even if it's just for a good meal

Nice quiet location, breakfast was good. Room was cosy and comfy. Decent sized rooms. Bathroom was ckean. Builiding is a bit old but nice and clean. Would stay again Staff vere friendly

Excellent location for our visit. Breakfast very good, all staff very helpful and welcoming. Bathroom was refurbished with excellent shower. Room very comfortable.

Thank you to Peter and Becky and all the staff for making our stay so pleasurable and easy.

Everything! Great location just out of the city but only a few minutes drive, plenty of room for car parking, great breakfast and generous hearty meals in the restaurant. Wonderful staff and host , met all our requirements. Good value for money, clean comfortable room. We were looking for comfortable place to stay, not too expensive with easy parking and a meal at the end of a long day sightseeing. Highly recommend The Smithton and as a bonus they offered and kindly packed a lunch for us on the last day to keep us going after a very early morning flight which we greatly appreciated. If we get the opportunity we would stay again.
