A beautiful property in an excellent location.
The house is beautiful and comfortable. everything has been provided to ensure that guests have a relaxing and enjoyable time.
its difficult to find anything wrong with the property, however, it would be even better if the lovely loft room had an en-suite.

Beautiful and perfect stay. Thank you
The place was beautiful and exceptionally clean, the host Anna was really welcoming.
The only fault if any was that the three pubs in the village only served food after five and only at certain times, however there is a chippy very near by. This is no fault of the owners.

    Passable
Adequate but expensive accommodation and Ashley was charming
It was very easy dealing with Ashley once we had made contact
Check in and out at 1630 and 0930 is not convenient. We managed to change it but could not get a response until late the night before. Parking is difficult. No blind on the skylight bedroom windows meant woken by moon and sun as they shine straight down on you. Decor and African masks are weird

    Very good
Lovely, comfortable and interesting house with lots of space.
The location was great, we only ate in the General Havelock which, if lacking atmosphere, served really good food - excellent steak & Pies. There is so much to do in this area and many great walks. The house itself is the most interesting holiday home I've stayed in with numerous pieces of artwork and antiques around the place. The lounge area was very comfortable and there was a log burner with a huge supply of logs. Large TV too. The host did leave some delicious biscuits and a bottle of fizz.
Although the kitchen was very well stocked with pans and utensils, it was spacious and everything worked well, we love cooking but did not cook in this kitchen. The layout was a bit illogical and not much preparation space especially if there were eight of you. The range however was excellent. A dishwasher would be a useful addition. The overhead flush in one of the two loos did not work consistently. The LED's on the television in the loft bedroom did have a habit of flashing red/green at 3am in morning. We could not access the power to turn this off.
