Great view, great shower, very good breakfast

The pillows were slightly too thin. We left the card details at our arrival to cover potential extra costs and the tassa di soggiorno. At checkout we were a bit in a hurry and we were asked to pay the tassa di soggiorno. It honestly looked like a useless phase, It would have been good to pay it directly on the arrival day since we already left our card details.

There are a lot of staff in the hotel and overall they were very friendly, competent and professional. The breakfast is great, too. The room was perfect, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The gym had everything that you need on a short trip. I can highly recommend getting a massage.

The only disappointment was the food at the New Year's dinner and we would have expected some more information about the wine that was served with the dinner, since we ordered the wine pairing. However, when we mentioned this at check-out and spoke with a manager, we were given a discount on the dinner without a fuss. So even this situation was handled well by the restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere in a beautifully renovated historic hotel in the centre of Trieste

I have long dreamed of spending Christmas in this wonderful hotel, which had very good reviews. The stay at the hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. The whole interior is really breathtaking. I am very fond of historic buildings, and this hotel is a sensitively restored hotel. I also really liked how the staff was always friendly and welcoming. I have stayed in other 4 star hotels, but I have never experienced service like this hotel. I originally considered booking a hotel with a sea view, but I'm glad I didn't. There is a very busy road right in front of the hotel. I had a room facing a courtyard where it was quiet and peaceful. And that's just something I needed for a Christmas vacation.

At breakfast it was a bit unusual that if a guest wants an espresso or capuccino they have to order their drinks from the staff. I was also surprised that the selection of cheeses and hams was not as good as I have experienced in other four star hotels, but those are minor things. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Wonderful hotel, staff like Stephanie at reception were great. Beautiful building and very nice rooms. Good restaurant. Location is fantastic. Very comfortable bar and lounge areas. Do yourself a favor and stay here

Perfect Christmas getaway, we loved everything about our stay.

Everything was perfect! The hotel was spotless, the staff couldnt do enough for us, the rooms were gorgeous and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We didnt want to leave.

No negative points at all, this hotel was a dream :)

A relaxing stay immersed in elegance.

The hotel presents itself in a classic and elegant style. The room was spacious, neat and clean, with a beautiful balcony facing the sea. The staff was extremely friendly, yet rigorous. Both my fianc and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be guests in this extraordinary hotel next year. Top rating to the hotels restaurant, as well: true fine dining.
