Uncomfortable stay in a family room

Good location

We stay here every time we visit Newcastle this is the first time we booked a family room but we were disappointed in the room, very small and compact where the bunk beds are. Kitchen area but no where to actually sit unless you want to eat on your bed. Wouldnt book a family room here again.

The room was small, dated and cold.

The staff were helpful.

The Bar and restaurant was closed for rework and we were only notified 48 before arrival. This was not on the website.

The hotel, was not clean to high standard. The window did not close properly so that meant that outside noise kept me and my husband up most of our 2 night stay.

Hotel value for money is poor and adjacent bar is at least 2/10 for service and quality Rooms are small To class as bed only positive, somewhere for shower and sleep

Hotel lovely, restaurant not great

Rooms were nice and clean

Restaurant was very crowded in the evening with people watching the football game at about 6/7pm. Wasnt suitable for someone wanting a relaxing dinner as was too loud. We went elsewhere

Comfy bed windows were drafting all night and water was on the ledge I would like a refund as Im very unsatisfied with

There was a draft coming from windows all night couldnt sleep too cold! In the morning there was water on the ledge inside from the rain the night before we made sure all windows were closed and still had an awful draft off wind! I would like a refund as the stay was uncomfortable the room was 505 you can go check for a draft if you dont believe me and the photo off the rain in the room.

The view to st james park

The bed was very small. Very little room in the room. The decor was outdated and the wallpaper was peeling. There was mould at the window sill. Also even though our room had late check put for 1pm. Staff came knocking the door 3 times and also had a phone call to say check out was at 11 even though numerous times we told the staff we had late check out. This disturbed a well needed sleep for an upcoming flight. Overall poor service for the price paid for the room- had higher expectations for a well known hotel. The only bonus was the view to st james park.
