Tolerable stay, with basic shortcomings.

The location is excellent - and is in walking distance to bars, restaurants, cafes, and the beach.

When checking in, the gentleman on reception was pleasant and welcoming - thank you. Unfortunately, the owner then inserted himself into our conversation to moderately chastise us for using booking.com, because it would eat into his profit margin. Perhaps we were supposed to sympathise with the owner/landlord of a large hotel complex in a popular tourist location? Quite strange. One imagines it could be removed from booking.com listings if it is this much of a problem. The room was functional but had obviously not been vacuumed, or at least not properly. The resort should also undertake pest control to eliminate the numerous cockroaches and spiders in the unit. It is part of being in Queensland, but they were already in the room rather than appearing during our stay - reflecting poorly again on the cleaning to prepare rooms.

All in all we enjoyed our stay. The staff were great and very helpful.

Excellent location. very central to cafes/pub/ eateries.

Very little pressure of water in the shower - had to stand there for a while to get wet. The single lift was not air-conditioned and it was very hot. The LED spot lamp illuminating their sign on the street shone into the balcony and made it difficult to look over to the beach.

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Would stay here again if visiting Hervey Bay.

Location, size of the rooms were great, staff were friendly and its a very family friendly resort. Pool is great.

Bedrooms didnt have air conditioning.

The lounge had empty food packets under it and the vacuum cleaner was full. Whoever cleaned only just did the job

Look forward to returning here when next in the Bay.

Location was great, right on the Esplanade. Even from the 6th floor you could just see the ocean from the trees but you hearing the waves was blissful once the traffic subsides. Enough food options within walking distance too.

Very good

Loved the location, by the beach beautiful swimming pool very clean and tidy resort.

Apartment was ok but I was on the ground floor had a lovely balcony that I did'nt use because of all the greenery growing up past the outside of the building making everything very dark inside luckily I was out and about so went back when it was getting dark.

I had a great time

Was able to make my own breakfast at a respectable time. Was centrally located to be able to walk to beach and jetties. Plenty of choices for lunch and/or dinner. I needed some time off to relax and was able to do so.

I could here my neighbors above me but it wasn't that bad. Weather was windy for three days. That's it.
