Extremely disappointed!

The location was very close to shops.

The grounds and building was not kept up well. As much as they charged me per night you'd think they could afford some repairs. The breakfast they offered was a joke! Cheap and extremely unhealthy with nothing but sugar laden prepackaged food. I had a fireplace in my room, but couldn't run it for more than 60 minutes until it turned itself off. The description for the room said they offered wine and champagne which was not offered. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable! You could tell they had issues in the shower area on the ceiling which was just painted over. There were paint spots on the floor that was not cleaned up and allowed to dry. They should be ashamed to charge as much as they for the rooms! I ended up leaving the night before i was supposed to check-out because of the people in the room beside being so loud and keeping me awake. I'll never book a room at this place again!

Close to the center of town.

Poor maintenance of rooms such as structures and electrical, no room service (daily cleaning and refurbishment of towels, etc) had to do this on our own.

I will definitely be rebooking here for my next Gatlinburg visit.

River Edge Inn is very convenient and in walking distance to all local shops and eats. Room was clean, bed was soft, and every staff member I encountered was very friendly and polite.
