Staff really friendly, helpful & interactive Location was great Sea breeze, fans, peace & quiet allowed for a great nights sleep Snorkelling was wonderful

Some TLC required to bring the hotel back to standard Cats were annoying, please feed away from restaurant

It was a really unpleasant vacation

I cant think about something Great about this resort

Lots of things: - bad position: you always have to take a boat or call a taxi to ho go to the beach Because there is nonone near the hotel - not very clean (stains on the sheetbed) and also with lizards and bugs in your room: window were broken so they have an easy access - when you eat in the hotel, 50% of the menu is not available - they organize some trips but sometimes boats are not available - you can ear all the noises from outside and from your neighbours (we woke up with their clock alarm)

Staff was very friendly

Location is not good. There is nothing to do near the hotel. No bars, restaurants and beaches. Only the hotel were the pool was not accesible and there was very bad wifi. You have to get with (expensive) private boat to long beach which is nice.

isolated resort in very poor condition. never choose this place

the only thing I like was friendly stuffs, made our stay a bit more pleasant

everything else. bathroom was very bad, toilet water doesnt flush properly, insects in the room and its not a cheap motel! doesnt worth the price we paid. plus NO beach! have to pay to take a boat to beach every time! I booked this venue a month ahead, after check in wanted to move out next day, but all other hotels were already fully booked. so disappointed.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and set amidst the quieter part of the island.

Redang Island Resort is situated in a quiet area of Redang Island which was a bonus point as we were looking for tranquility. Encik Ariff was kind enough to upgrade us to a seaview room which had a lovely view of the sunrise and sunset and the backyard was overlooking the sea. The room itself is set amidst a Malay kampung wooden house and had its appeal. This is Berjaya's older resort and is a bit run down but if refurbishing and renovations are done it has the potential to be much better. The room itself was very basic, set in the 80's style hotel and had an old shower head. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. There are numerous activities like snorkeling and island hopping that you can book direct from the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The breakfast buffet could have been improved upon with perhaps a counter that serves scrambled eggs made on the spot. There was not much fruit served and the porridge was tasteless. There were chipped plates still being used and definitely should be replaced. Much to be improved at the breakfast buffet.
