I stayed at this campsite, and it was truly great. The place itself was so pretty, surrounded by nature. What made it even better were the people, especially the hosts. They were extremely nice and always ready to help me out. We had some good times there! This campsite is perfect for backpackers, who want a beautiful place to chill. I can't recommend it enough. It's just that good! Thank you!

A super fun experience on a beautiful island!

If you want the experience of having a private beach in nature on a beautiful island, then the Redang Campstay is for you! It was affordable, and I was extremely impressed with how my tent stayed dry during heavy thunderstorms. I would like to leave a shout out for the staff, who were super friendly and helpful. They will help you arrange snorkel trips and transportation and also tell you any information you need to know about the island.

Being on a beautiful private beach also means that you are not super close to stores or restaurants. If you like to walk along the beach, then you will enjoy the 15 to 20 minute walk to the resort area where you can find restaurants and a convenient store. I was not super organized or prepared for camping and still had a great experience. However, if you are someone who likes to plan ahead, I recommend bringing some groceries for cooking.

Beautiful site, perfect for backpackers

Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are loads of chill out spots on the campsite. The location, while a tricky enough walk from the nearby jetty, is beautiful.

Overall quite a fun experience staying at the campsite and will definitely go there again !

The place was quite secluded from the busy long beach, which was quite nice as we got the beach to our-self. Toilets were super-clean and basically we can find everything we need at the camp. Staffs were super nice and super helpful. Snorkeling spot is literally in front of the camp-site. Talking about sustainability, most of the electricity, if not all are solar-powered. It's a perfect location to get away from the city's busy life. You can chill in a hammock and enjoy the sea breeze all day/night long peacefully. If you feel like partying, or to get a bite or to do beach activities, the long beach is only 20-minutes away on foot.

Quiet and cozy campsite stay.

Nice beach area, snorkeling is possible right off the beach. Right at the end is a nice area for snorkeling with alot of fish and corals. Affordable. Quiet, private spot.

Be sure to get a boat to drop you off at the property during high tide otherwise it's a 20min walk from the nearest jetty. Also the nearest shop is 20min walk. Had to add another rm20 for an air bed.

Paid 2 tents for 5 but somehow become 2 tents for 2 only. No restaurant near, open shower room, very far from long beach, beach has a lot of shells, inside the tent only have one very small carpets
