- Need a car to get to nearest shop/cafe etc - 25 minute drive to town - Restaurant had limited opening hours and did not open for breakfast

Environment is great. There are many black swans and wild goose on the lake. Facilities are good. The kids like warm swimming pool, jacuzzi and big chessboard.

Nice family retreat

Property is on the other side of Lake Rotorua to the city centre, but we felt it was a great location. Only 10 to 15 minutes drive to town and isolated from town, its tranquil and quiet. Our villa was on the canal so every day there were ducks and swans outside swimming outside or back door. The kids loved it. Room facilites were good-nice warm rooms, modern kitchen , air-conditioning and stand fan included, decent bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Clean sheets and towels. It is highly recommended to get some groceries before checking in for cooking during the stay as the restaurant opening hours is irregular as it's privately owned. Would definitely recommend this place to any visitors to Rotorua.

Beautiful, peaceful location just outside Rotorua. Wonderful staff and good facilities.

20 minutes outside Rotorua and attractions, but worth the drive to be in a more peaceful location. Only one bathroom - but this seems the norm in New Zealand!

Amazing place to be for a break from work and daily stress.

I loved the location, beds,room facilities,pool and all the activities provided like tennis, table tennis,board games etc. It was amazing! I will come back to this place.

Nothing that I can think of however restaurant menu could add more options for non beef/pork eaters probably...but the food we ate was tasty.
