Beautiful place, awesome experience

The resort is beautiful, everything has been thought of. Mini bar has beer, soft drinks, wine and sherry Food and drinks in the restaurant were lovely and more than enough food Everyone working there is lovely from Joseph who helped with the bags to restaurant staff, reception and Cameron our safari guide who tracked down everything we wanted to see even the new lion cubs!!

Eine andere Welt, fantastic experience!

We had a fantastic stay! It was very special to us. Great staff!! Lovely surroundings and our guide Headmann was so passionate about the animals he showed us. Thank you again Headmann, we learned so much! It was very interesting!

Absolutely amazing, great service, beautiful place and an amazing experience.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable with a coffee machine and good mini bar. We really enjoyed relaxing in the room and in the main lodge during the day. The main lodge had several lounge rooms, with fires, books and games, which we enjoyed. The view from the main lodge was beautiful and we saw lots of animals on the plain. The service was great and we felt very well looked after. The bush drives were absolutely incredible. Our ranger, Mzi, was great. He was very knowledgable and friendly and worked very had to find the animals that we wanted to see. It was an experience of a life time and the game reserve was very impressive.

The only complaint about the room, which we didnt raise during our stay was that shower pressure was poor and the air conditioning kept cutting out and beeping during the night. The food could not be considered as five star by any stretch of the imagination. The cooked breakfast was consistently great but the lunch and dinner was a bit hit and miss. Some meals were nice but others were a bit disappointing, especially considering the high standard of service for everything else during our stay. This did not ruin the stay at all and the food was nice, just completely incomparable to all of the other five star hotels that we have stayed whilst in South Africa.

One of the more magical places we have stayed in, 100% would recommend and will be returning!

Fantastic selection of food, staff were absolutely amazing, especially our ranger Charlene. The trip could not have been better, can't recommend Pumba enough - we WILL be back!

Fantastic lodge experience with the animals being the stars but backed up up by great staff, accommodation, food and loc

Amazing location, rooms and staff. Food was superb and great outlook from our lodge room and private deck. Didnt see all the big 5 but still had amazing animal experiences especially the white lions.

Highly recommend

I liked everything! Its sophisticated yet cosy experience. Friendly staff, good food. I read some comments about the food suggesting it should be improved. I am really picky with the food. In this game reserve, the food was very good home-made type. Do not expect please fine dining type but a good quality home-made fresh varied food will be served. Safari experience and the lodges (the ones facing the bushes and near the spa) are perfect and stylish. Everything is not new there but thats on purpose, its more like an elegant vintage style. I recommend staying from 3 to 5 days there to just relax, see all the animals and enjoy Spa.

Priceless memories

Everything was perfect. From the pick-up at the entrance, the safari tours and the meals no wishes were left. Cleo was the best guide for us and answered every question. He has a broad knowledge of the animals and a lot of respect for them. He gave them enough space/privacy. We saw a lot of animals and are very happy with our beautiful impressions. Thank you Pumba team for priceless memories.

Fantastic experience- second time at Pumba and loved every minute

The room was gorgeous with a stunning view. The food was excellent and catered very well from my intolerances, and the staff were amazing, especially our ranger Pums!

Nothing - apart from maybe a little more variety of wine the was included in our package
