Guests were well taken care of during their stay at Pullman Rotorua, with attentive housekeeping and restaurant staff. Enjoyed a meal at Barrel and Co with good steak and fish, although salad was ove (Read More)rly dressed. Breakfast buffet was average with limited fruit selection. The hotel's exterior resembles a commercial office building. Overall, a convenient location with potential for improvement in certain areas. Would consider staying again.

Superb

One of better hotels in Rotorua, very good location near lake

Very good location, rooms are big, beds are comfortable, but not very large , breakfast not that much wow, could be better , staff are helpful and friendly, near the hotel there is a whole area with many restaurants, food street as well , I think in Rotorua itself not that much 5 star hotels are there, do probably its the best of all.

Extremely comfortable but also kinda frustrating.

The location and design are amazing

The staff feel green to me. I was coming in later (21:30) so had the night shift staff. They have all the right mix of bubbly openness that really showcases kiwi authenticity and hospitality, but they werent acting like seasoned professionals. For example. I have my kid on my booking. Its up front. When I asked for a roll bed I was told that they were 130 a night. Which is true, but why would my child pay that when they sleep for free. When we finally arrived after an 8hour tiki tour, there wasnt any bedding in the room for her. So I had to call and request a bed, but then after I was informed about the in availability of the bed, I had to stay on the line and prompt them to actually sen up a pillow and duvet. I was exhausted and seriously I stay at these place to not have to think about how my needs are being met. Thats why stars are hotly contested and only the best get 5. Now Ive had 5star service in many countries and its doesnt always map to their hotel stars. This would never happen at a 5star hotel with a bit of experience under their belts, so again: this isnt criticism; its what was missing from my guest experience and I look forward to being impressed at my next stay

Overall was good stay, but could be much better.

Good location

Check in delayed by 1 hour. Check out nearly got us late for our itinerary. Room was generally clean, except the ventilation fans were very very dusty.

The room had a typical smell of Sulphur of some acid. I guess it is surrounded by sulphur so it smells like that.

Excellent hotel with ibternational chain standards

Great location close to the City Center, Park, Kuirau hotwaters, and variety of restaurants close by on Eat Streat. Comfy bed, good equipment (including Nespresso Machine), Parking (with charge) and very good breakfast. Restaurant is also very good. Super friendly staff.

Everything was excellent during our stay.
