Beautiful hotel

Great size rooms , clean, lovely views, b/fast was good . Good location.

Very good

Great location

Our original room was a dark, interior room and very small. After some discussion, we were upgraded to a different room in a different building, which was lovely. The thermal pool was great.

The fact we were given a very low grade room initially.

Old World Charm

Plenty of old world charm and nice to have an on site bar to purchase an evening beverage and relax in front of the fire. We were there in the off season though, so this probably wouldn't be as quiet in peak times.

Their peak were about 20 years ago! Big need for renovations. Staff didnt impress. Breakfast was okay, but not good. No gym. If you want quality hotel, pick the nearby Pullman

The family units arent in the historical section of the building. Sulfur hot tub was as smelly as the name suggests!

Comfortable beds and amazing food.

The food was incredible, the historical atmosphere was amazing, the swimming pool was good, and the localisation was perfect. The bed was very clean and comfortable.From your room, you can easily access the street and your car. There is a free parking at the back street.

The curtains weren't fixed properly. The power plugs and the lights weren't working correctly. The rooms are not soundproof, and you can hear everything in other rooms.

Disappointing

The staffs are very nice and helpful, and the restaurant they recommend is super.

My room was recently refurnished and had this strong chemical smell...also the hand soap is watery and weird. I had to ask to exchange for a new room because of strong headache, and gladly the staff helped us with it.

Superb

Im very relaxed day, excellent location for tourist attractions food was very good value.

Location was excellent at the entrance to government gardens, easy walk to the beautiful lake, Rotorua and close to the spas. Free parking, breakfast by the pool, all day lunch available too

Bathrooms are very tired, dining room was very tired but easy to take food to the courtyard which was delightful.
