The reviewer had an amazing experience at Personal Touch 1, feeling like part of the family with friendly staff and top-notch service. They can't wait to return and bring their family. The rooms were (Read More) very clean and spacious, and the neighborhood was safe and close to downtown. The only issue mentioned was waiting for a $200 deposit refund. Overall, it was a warm and family-friendly setting.

Lovely island to have a fantastic vacation

The property was in excellent condition. It is quite spacious and very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely. We were warmly welcomed and felt as if at home. Stores and local eateries are a short drive away. The host was so friendly and very helpful to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. We loved the island sights.

We had not done enough research preparation to realize the distance to downtown. So fortunate to have the propertys gracious host who arranged a ride for us to the supermarket, showed where some local restaurants were, and helped us obtain a rental car. Her service is above and beyond and greatly appreciated.

The real Nassau

Diana is a perfect host. She welcomed us as part of her family. She was always available to help with any question, providing anything we needed in the house and advising places to go and to visit. She even gave us a ride to some of them. She made our stay in Nassau memorable, despite we found miserable weather. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood, far from cruise ship crowd, close to the bus stop to reach downtown with public transport (30 mins with bus #15 or #11) , walking distance from a beautiful beach, 3 mins walk from a big supermarket.

Pleasant

Diana was pleasant and, on arrival, accommodating as she allowed for an early check in. Because we were early, they were still preparing the apartment for occupancy. We found the apartment very clean and quiet.

There was a misunderstanding with the keys and so on our first night we were locked out and had to call in a locksmith as we were unable to reach Diana (it was quite late!). We could not get the ac unit in the living room to turn on nor the television there and there was no notation that we could see for the wifi password. While we would have preferred instructions for these things to be given upon check in, we also concede that once we realised these things, we decided not to call Diana for assistance and just let it be. I have no doubt she would have accommodated.

Was almost like being at home.

It met our expectations; while the host was far and beyond helpful and kind. Quite enjoyable and we were treated almost like family. Very close to the super market and easy to catch the bus to downtown.

Could have used better water pressure in the kitchen.

So comfortably beautiful clean and quiet

The sweet and loving hospitality. Anything I had need of was given with a smile. It was so peaceful and quiet, it felt like home away from home. I would recommend this place to familys and friends
