Disappointing overall

Rooms were spotless, cleaners in every day,. Front desk staff polite and cheerful. Went to reception a couple hours after checked in as we were not happy with the toom and boarded up doors and windows, of Block C, and overall impression was awful and we regretted booking here. Got upgraded as we very disappointed with the room. It was bitterly cold, smelt awful, very strong odour when you opened the door and lingered inside very unpleasant indeed. The, floor tiles were wet, slippery, and both my husband and I could not have stayed there for the 2 weeks we booked. Went to reception, upgraded to the next level room which had kitchen cupboards and kitchen cutlery and plates, cups etcto room in Block B. This room was on the ground floor,. We were happier with this room initially. Beds felt more comfortable too. Plenty restaurants, and stores not far.

The hotel is in a very noisy area,, Between the traffic noise, airplanes going over at all hours of the night, car doors slamming with people coming and going, at all hours, cleaners having loud conversations outside our doors, we did not get one decent night's sleep and kept getting woken up. Our room was beside the room the cleaners used and kept their equipment, so the carts trundling up and down early in the mornings with loud conversations got very irritating.. Did Not help that the room door was Very Badly fitted, was hard to close, had to literally slam it to close, it had a huge gap at the sides and bottom, so everything was heard from outside,. We could not wait to leave to be honest, and we did not like the area overall and would not stay here again.

Beds need altering in accessible rooms to accommodate a hoist.

We liked the room. We would use again if the beds were compatible with a hoist - please see below.

Shame about the beds. Our son uses a hoist to get into bed, the beds are on a platform/ boxed in area under them meaning the hoist legs can't go under the bed. We had to lift him into bed. The beds need to be on casters or legs to allow the use of a hoist. The room was sold as accessible, it had a reasonable amount of space and a roll in shower.

This was a really good stay the beds were comfortable.

The fire warning system was in the fritz due to some refurbishment taking place.

Still simply the BEST!

The pool was amazing and really well maintained and the staff is very attentive!

Our first few nights the property was having issues with the fire detection system which set off the alarms properly wide but thats neither here nor there.

Very good

It was clean, staff super friendly, perfect location for why we travelled and the AC on point.

Breakfast was not available until 7, not sure if it would have been different during weekday but our event started at 7 so could not partake in breakfast.
