Lovely hotel in lovely location

Beautiful location, very convenient for the coast and Broads. Friendly welcome, clean interior with lovely period features. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We gad a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast was delicious. Rooms are very nice. Beds very comfy. Overall, it was an excellent hotel.

A really lovely night away with the family

Great location for our stay, lovely staff and great food. We had rooms next door to each other, which is what we asked for. Very friendly welcome and service throughout

Only very minor points, nothing significant at all. We had to ask for a toilet roll as only half a roll in the bathroom, but this was immediately dealt with in a very friendly way.

Pleasant country hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The meal was very pleasant ( the sirloin was especially good ), at a very reasonable price. It is very quiet there and away from the road and there was a peacock wandering around the grounds too. The room was large and excellent value for money. I have seen some comments about it being dated, but it is exactly what one would expect in an older country house - it is not meant to be a Premier Inn. Breakfast was excellent. It is in a very quiet rural area but just a few minutes from central Lowestoft. We would stay there again if we return to the area.

We are used to large televisions, and the room could do with a noticeably bigger one especially when trying to use the text.
