Your temporaly home in amazing Siena

Amazing place with private parking and a compliment breakfast. There is a terrace garden. Very friendly atmosphere. Very close to all attractions. We can enjoy a view to Basilica di San Domenico from our room.

We always love the place - the view over the garden to the hills of Tuscany, the gorgeous breakfast, honestly everything

Everything. This was our 5th stay at the hotel - 1972, 1984, 1987 with our 3 kids, 1999 with friends for our 30th anniversary, and just last week on a trip with our 3 kids, spouses, and our 6 little grandsons.

Room 22: the hot water never got hot in 12 minutes for a before dinner shower in the early evening. I told the front desk, and the young woman said Room 22?? Oh you have to wait at least 20 minutes. My husband whispered I wish we were in room 5 - much shorter wait, ha! Anyway, she said that as if we were supposed to have known that. I did not know that, and had stood in a very cold shower waiting for hot water that never happened.

The location was perfect for me because my school was very close by. Rooms were super clean. Evening in the garden was lovely. Morning staff person was very helpful.

Perfect get away from the day's activities.

An old building with enough of its age old accoutrements, a beautiful back terrace for watching sunsets, and a morning restaurant and evening bar.

That guests could not bring their own food and drink to the terrace.

An old (devastatingly!) beautiful building, thoughtfully converted to a modern hotel, wonderfully helpful and attentive staff

...ah, only, perhaps the weather (it is November !) meant we couldn't make the most of the outdoor /garden area with its spectacular views. Thoroughly enjoyed it though returning from/ visiting carpark ...might have to return one day in warmer weather. ;)
