We liked the lobby area and thought it was lovely and cosy!
Unfortunately, the room itself had no character whatsoever! The furniture looked like flat packed cheap! It would have been lovely to have had some bedspreads at the end of the bed! The chairs need a makeover!

Fabulous hotel jn great location
Beautiful building in fabulous location. Room was spacious and clean. Staff friendly.
Tried to book dinner at the restaurant online but wouldn't complete booking and e were disappointed that there was no availability when we got there.

We had a wonderful overnight stay while visiting family in Yorkshire. The old part of the hotel has a beautiful period features and decor. Dinner and the buffet breakfast were very good. We will definitely stay here again

I paid to use the facility of the swimming pool until 8pm, however A lady who worked in the cleaning department came to us at 7.30 and insisted that we would get out because she had to clean as it was just my family using the facility. the night before there was a British family with us and they allowed us to stay until 8.05, how come I havent received the same treatment when I was with my family the day after and she kept screaming as if we didnt understand English ?? Im so disappointed of this racist behaviour as I didnt expect this hotel to treat foreigners this way!
