It could have been so much better.

Breakfast, and comfort of bed.

The queue to check in, on a Saturday afternoon, when the hotel must have known how busy they were going to be. Why did the Manager insist on printing a letter to each room for the fire alarm incident. The Manager's time would have been better spent collecting the rubbish in the car park, or being visible at reception for check in, or at breakfast, in the morning.

Overpriced and underwhelming.

Cleanliness in room was excellent with a very comfy bed in a large room. Friendly staff in bar area (evening) particularly a young woman who served me & bought my food order to my room which was really appreciated.

I was disappointed to be asked to pay for parking in the hotel car park after paying almost 100 for one nights stay. I also chose this hotel as it offered room service but I was asked to order at the bar - something I wanted to avoid after 8hrs of driving in Storm Henk. Reception wasn't the friendliest. Many of the chairs seat pads in the breakfast area were dirty. I perceived a general lethargy/ downheartedness in multiple members of staff which I can only guess is related to organisational culture. The cost versus my experience was not congruent.

Great location for Franklin Gardens rugby ground - walking distance. Very comfortable bed and room in general. Staff friendly and helpful.

Would have been useful to have had somewhere to hang bulky outdoor coats as there wasn't room in the wardrobe. Also there was a huge standard lamp in the middle of the room which was not needed as there were lots of other lighting options in the room - it was cumbersome and detracted from the rest of the room.

Very nice hotel, well worth chosing when visiting in Northampton

Very helpful check in staff. Very nice helpful lady. Restaurant is nice. Breakfast food was excellent

The two men on the reception desk during the evening were dismissive and rude The coffee machines in the restaurant are in completely the wrong place as queues for their use significantly obstruct guests accessing breakfast. Coffee machines are slow.
