Nora Buri Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

We wanted to finish our Ko Samui trip with a great resort the last day so we booked a hillside villa with private pool. The day before arriving, we reservated an one hour spa the day we are arriving as it's the last spot of the day. Arrival: the receptionist told us to wait till 2pm to have the room card and left. So we went to the restaurant to have lunch and booked a table at the diner venue at 19h. At 2pm, the same receptionist drived us to the villa but the whole explanation lasted not even 5 mins with the whole villa. When asked about spa confirmation, we were told to call the spa ourselves as for her the spa is "unfortunately full for today". After she left, we called the spa and our booking was indeed valid. We also need to call the reception as the wifi username and password were not correct. We asked for a second key card and we're told the machine was broken. Around 18h30 we arrived earlier at the restaurant as I was not sure if the table was booked. Clearly no booking was done and sadly the fact that the birthday of my mother was not informed neither as I got a positive answer about a small fruit "cake" could be just wonderful, without need to sing the song etc, just very discret. After diner, we asked for a buggy car and waited for 30 mins outside without any acknowledgement. The stuff just said "sorry, please be patient". We left the property the next day early with a big disappointment. This is an international resort if we understood well, and the communication between stuff and client was not well at all and worse when it comes to communication between different departments. I acknowledge immensely that most of stuff are really helpful and working hard, it's more than a management failure at my humble option. It left a very bitter taste of Ko Samui for us. One last thing, we are now in 2024 and at this kind of resort and price, we only get Nestl instant coffee? It's sad.

Really could not fault this hotel. We stayed in a hillside villa with private pool and oh my god I could not believe the view, it was gorgeous! The pool is a very generous size for private use. The room was exceptionally clean and a gorgeous design. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They really couldnt do more to help you. They have gold buggys that transport you around the resort and appear within a minute of your call. The food at the hotel was excellent with one restaurant setting being on the beach. We had a fantastic stay and would highly highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Samui!
