Great stay ina great place. Would come back

Great place to explore Vung Tau. Staff are very helpful. Restaurant food was good. Room 407 Looked over the beach and had a great balcony to watch the world go by

Good rooms - The restaurant one of the worse we have experienced in Vietnam for a "high end hotel"

Stayed there earlier in the year. It was like 2 different hotels. Nothing to complain about the rooms, they are very nice and if you only plan on staying in your room and not eat anything, go ahead. Only giving them a 3 rating because of the rooms and location is good.

The restaurant and the staff is a complete and utter disaster. Waiting so long for food, when it shows up it's cold. 90% of the waiters dont speak English. Most of them seem like they have never worked at a restaurant before, completely running around like chickens without a head. You ask for something, they just start doing something else, so you have to ask for it 2-3 times more. The breakfast selection on our last day was almost empty when we came at 9 AM. The manager guy on Christmas Eve had no idea what he was doing. It was a disaster after the appetizer. The main course was ordered but came an hour later, the wine selection for such a big night was a mess, 60% of the card was apparently sold out on the same day according to the manager (Learn to order ahead). We could not even do anything than just laugh. It was such a shambles on one of the biggest nights of the year for a hotel who supposedly caters to foreigners as locals. The restaurant needs a serious overhaul of staff training (And just someone who speaks more than basic English) and menu and just available wines and selection!!!

Wouldn't come again

Our waiter Cuong and the staff by the pool were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was good, clean, but a very long streep walk away from the main facilities.

We did not feel very welcome in this hotel. I don't know the reason, but we felt uncomfortable all the time, as if most of the staff did not like us being there. We were unable to charge drinks or food to the room but were never explained why. The walk from our hillside room to the main site was long and steep. There's a lot of noise around the rooms - construction, loud staff and other guests, dogs barking all night long.

Simply superb getaway destination

Superb in an understated, elegant way. Very European in layout and design, not a hi-rise. Good food, even for dinner. Great passion fruit mojito. Grounds were beautiful, as was the private beach and sunset views (yes, the hotel faces west!) Oceanfront room and balcony were great.
