Guests enjoyed a Murder Mystery stay with excellent staff, spotless rooms, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was praised as the best ever. However, the Murder Mystery solution was underwhelming and th (Read More)e meal served was disappointing. The hotel's location is convenient for exploring the Cotswolds. Some rooms need renovation and lack air conditioning and convenient plug sockets. Despite this, all staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was nice with a large selection.

Lovely property in a good location

Beautiful building, communal areas very stylish. All staff very friendly and professional. Fab breakfast, free parking, comfy bed.

Just a couple of housekeeping areas missed in our room, used cups etc, could hear creaky floorboards from adjoining rooms but expected with an older building

Lovely stay here,to celebrate wedding anniversary. We had the superior room, which is very big, lovely staff, nice and quiet when we stayed. Great meal in the pod too, lovely atmosphere in there.

The rude awakening at 8am by contractors shouting and banging outside our room whilst painting hallways and then as leaving got wet paint on my overnight bag as no sign had been displayed as to what had been painted

Great hotel, friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly and super accommodating. The bed was so comfy, I did not want to leave!

Not really a dislike but with no lift it is a nightmare when carrying all your luggage, I was on the top floor at at the very end aswell.

Very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again when I am in that area.

Loved the location in beautiful grounds and the size of the bedroom with lovely views! Everywhere was clean and tidy offering comfortable accommodation. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were superb with great choice and the food was delicious.

It was difficult to find in the dark and more, bigger signs are needed.

Exceptional stay.

The staff were excellent in handling our group, the rooms were very comfortable and plenty of room. Bathroom everything you required, Tea Coffee Biscuits. Would not hesitate to stay there again. We were visiting it for a Murder Mystery evening and would recommend. that also.
