Very good

Lovely stay with beach view

Really nice rooms, lovely staff, amazing gym! Perfect to explore the region and walk along the Ayrshire Costal path.

Breakfast was not that varied, we could hear the bar from the first floor and the Hogmanay dinner was rather chaotic. The shower had very little pressure in our room.

Rooms were amazing. The food (especially steaks!) was exceptional.

The service can be slow to exceptionally slow. The is very true in the bar where the staff seem not to be able to expedite drinks in an efficient manner. For example an order of cocktails (2-3) seems to hold up two members of staff one of whom could be serving\delivering other simpler drinks. Also a lack of attention to detail often means multiple trips for example wrong glass, including ice where it is not wanted etc. However the friendliness and hospitality of the staff should not be understated ,but they need to be given a framework to allow them to work in a much more efficient manner.

Thank you for a lovely stay

New decor was really nice. Food was excellent and competitively priced for a hotel. Room was a high standard and bathroom lovely. Leisure club changing rooms are so much nicer and cleaner than they were before. This was well overdue. Staff, truly excellent. I couldn't not praise them more. Hotel management have recruited and trained really well.

A dog next door to our room kept barking. Only happened in the afternoon when we arrived but had the potential to ruin our stay. Room service menu isn't as good as the seal bar, and 7.50 a tray is too expensive.

SPECTACULAR FOOD....VIEWS TO DIE FOR AND STAFF OUTSTANDING

The junior suite was amazing opulent luxurious views over royal marine and beach food in rabbit restaurant was brilliant breakfast wow.the staff waiters reception and porters all very helpful and lovely

Superb

The hotel was lovely and spotlessly clean. Very dog friendly. There was a wide range of dog breeds and all very well behaved. Staff were very attentive.

The food menu had a limited selection. I did enjoy the minute steak sandwich it was delicious. I would also suggest an extra litter bin for dog waste.

Comfortable stay

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The weather was extreme and we needed to leave early so they were kind enough not to charge us for the night we didn't stay. They were very welcoming to our dog. The breakfast and supper were very tasty. The room was clean and spacious. The location is superb.

Everything was fine apart from cigarette smoke smell in the bathroom. We informed the staff and an air freshener was put in our room.
