Very disapointing stay at this hotel

The room was spacious and there was a parking lot ( very small though)

- breakfast is miserable - room service is bad - no hot water for 24h and nobody fixed it despite many complains - the room was not cleaned / made / bedsheet not changed despite a clear request - loud location - stains on the couch in the bedroom - personnal not very friendly ( except Baris)

We know it was the off season, but cleaning the room is basic

Location and hotel property itself was beautiful, nice pool, close to the beach, and conveniently located

The staff was kind enough to warn us about large groups staying there, and upon retiring for bed, we could hear the screams and shrieks of teenage girls having a sleepover in the suite above us including them moving furniture for no reason at all up till about 3 am. We stayed there for 2 nights, 2 adult women, and we were advised not to flush toilet paper. We were shocked to find out that when we returned from excursions (day 2) that the room had not been cleaned and when we called the front desk to tell them we were going out again and wanted the room clean , to which they said no problem, and put the door tag up for the room to be cleaned , we returned to find the trash in the bathroom still full, nothing mopped , and dirty towels everywhere. We called the desk again and they brought us fresh towels and tried to make excuses, and interrupted us as we tried to explain we had already called .

Very Disappointing

Firstly we were given the wrong room - with twin beds and not a double. Mirror dirty, bed linen not very well ironed. Dirty terrace, no view. We were moved to A3 - with a view of a busy road but with a double bed etc. Clean room nice bathroom. In the afternoon we wanted a drink - we were told it was not possible to have a mojito because the "bar lady" dosent arrive until 6 p.m. - this in a 4 star hotel with a bar ! We requested breakfast boxes to collect at 6.30 the next morning.

We could not have an alcoholic drink in the afternoon. the breakfast boxes were a disgrace. Both boxes were full of biscuits and a piece of cake. One rock hard pear, one rock hard apple. This is just an insult as breakfast was included in the price of our stay.

Wonderful small retreat outside of Iraklio.

Very nice staff, always helpfull, always trying to improve and very friendly! Rooms are clean, breakfast is very good and has everything from fresh fruits, to olives, toast and fresh bread, egg varieties, omlette service. Restaurant is also nice, we where here end of season so some food was not available anymore, totally fine if hotel was not fully booked. We even got out favorite Cocktail from the bar, even its not on the menu. Definitely a goto Hotel. Bus leaves literally in front of the house, 20 minutes downtown. You can get rental delivered directly to the Hotel with a collaborating Agency. Hotel got a fresh makeover in Oktober 22, pool and restaurant are nice and new.

The only thing that confused us where the time schedules concerning Whirlpool times, pool times, lunch/brunch dinner... But that is a small thing to fix/improve.
