A welcoming place for exploring Bordeaux

We enjoyed our stay at Maison d'htes Alma. Isabelle and Jamila are fantastic hosts; they are welcoming, attentive, and kind. The room was comfortable, large, and clean. The location is ideally situated between the train station and the rest of the city.

It was a lovely 3 days we spent at the hotel

We had a great stay at Alma - very comfortable, good breakfast, the room was delightful. Allan was a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. The Maison was a bit too far out of the centre but as we are good walkers we managed.

Spacious accommodation but decent walk to get a tram to centre. Not well placed for restaurants.

Location not as central as I expected. TV reception very poor and non existent at times. Room not serviced during 4 day stay and bins not emptied. Outdoor breakfast tables not cleaned

Great host, lovely quirky place.

Ins was an amazing host! The place was perfect for our needs, but I would go back even only for Ins' hospitality. She made us feel at home and suggested places to visit and things to do in Bordeaux, as well as local places to eat or to buy local produce. She was really thoughtful with our breakfast, and she will try and accommodate any intolerance (as long as she is told). The B&B is a short walk away from the centre as well as the main train and tram station.

No sign on the door, but very easy to find.

Great short stay in Bordeaux.

Great apartment. Very clean, spacious enough. The host Nicole was helpful with recommendations, accommodative. The street is extremely quiet. I would rent it again.

The area is a bit dodgy. I was advised by the host to look over my shoulder if walking back at night. But we did not have any issues. Always took back Uber.
