Property was in great location, but thats about all that was good about it

The house had such an awful smell to it from the moment you walked into the door , the bottom floor was full of mould , it was very damp . In the garage had about 10 loads of wet washing that was wet and smelly the hole time we were at the house , that smell lingered through the whole house . The house was very loud , Taps where broken in the main bathroom, along with the door handle in the main bathroom you could not get in through the hall way you hat to walk around to the bedroom to get into the bathroom . The Tv we could not get to work , it wouldnt load any movies , and as it was a wet weekend we thought I might in to relax to watch movies would of been great but that couldnt happen. Would not recommend to take children as the children room that was set up had mould all of the walls and in the bathroom that was connected to there room had mould all over the ceiling and the smell was terrible

The location and size of the house was excellent. The beds were comfortable and it was clean

There were no microwave containers, and other cooking implements were sparse. We donated some containers that we bought. The can opener was broken. There were no pegs to use on the external clothesline, so we had to use the dryer. We had to move in-house laundry of theirs to use an internal clothes line for items we couldn't use a dryer for. As overseas visitors, we don't have the luxury of bringing our own items. We couldn't access the property til after 4 pm as the cleaner had to clean after a large group prior to us..we guess, by the amount of alcohol bottles and full rubbish bins. This was inconvenient to us, as the property advertised after 3 pm entry and we planned our journey around this timeframe. As a family, we would have appreciated garbage bin bags.one wasn't sufficient for a week. Rhe televisions weren't sufficient, as they were without WIFI dongles and we couldn't watch anything on them. We wanted to watch the local news at least. We have been happy with all our other accommodation in New Zealand, but this one needs improvement.

Good

The house is clean and tidy, so it was a pleasant stay.

It was spacious and quiet.

When youre on the second level room, you could hear footsteps and toilet flushes from upstairs. The old style water tap, its hot and cold separately, cant regulate the temperature. And the bathroom shower, its all hot!
