Lovely property with very nice views

Nice views from the property onto the lake. Weather wasnt all that warm so found the wood burners great. Came with supply of paper, kindling and wood

Personal choice but really dont like plastic wine glasses. Recycling made reference to blue bin but couldnt find one anywhere

Best holiday spot we have stayed in for a long. Majestic, beautiful, cozy home with great set up.

Great spot to relax and unwind, close to Rotorua for activities but also lots to do at the house with kids. The water view and jetty was majestic to wake up too in the morning. House was fully stocked, all the little details to make it feel like a resort! Would love to come back again but for longer!

The perfect spot for a family holiday!

Kim had turned on the bedroom heaters for our arrival as it was later than expected. The house was warm, cosy and super welcoming! Everything was clean and organised which I love. Another beautiful stay at Lake Haven over the 2023 Easter weekend. It has everything you could want for a family holiday and more!

An exceptionally amazing house and experience, I highly recommend it to anyone going to Rotorua.

Everything about this house was exceptional. It's a really cool 70's style house that opens to a fabulous view of the rear yard and lake, which is only a few feet away. There was an outdoor dining table, fireplace and grill that we used the first night for a wonderful dinner. Had the weather been better, we would have used the kayaks! They even provided beach towels! The rooms and bedding were extremely comfortable (crisp hotel sheets), everything was well stocked, well thought out for guests. The host lives right next door, so it was easy to ask questions or get anything we needed. There was a notebook filled with useful information about aspects of the house, where to buy groceries, things to do and see. Really well organized. We cannot say enough great things about this stay, I stay in Booking.com properties all over the world, and this is one at the very top of my list. Thank you for the bottle of wine and a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location. Very clean. Comfortable beds with very nice sheets and bedding. Shamppo/conditioner and body wash provided (although we had our own). Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Nice shower. Firewood and outdoor furniture provided, loved sitting outside under the stars enjoying the fire. QGood information provided in folder. The wine and honey was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Was good to know we could contact the hosts for help although there was good information provided so we didn't need to contact them.

Not much, was great overall. If I had to choose something, bathroom fan would have been good as mirror could not be used for a while after shower. Did make up in bedroom one day but could have done with a little table under the mirror to put my makeup on. Mirror in second room too low and something for a bedside table would have been good in that room, perhaps one of those C shaped tables that fit under sofa or bed and can be moved around.
