Old world charm A

Very helpful staff, that had some great wine tour suggestions,good location, great old world charm . Spacious rooms .

Not much I didn't like , maybe the shower was a little small but wouldn't stop me going back.

Quite old fashioned but clean rooms

Staff is very very kind and helpful, they organize for you really everthing, excursion, transfer, amything. The breakfast is delicious but not a wide range of foods, coffee is very good.

Very old fashioned and a renovation would be already needed. Bathroom is very small. Appr 10 -15 mins walk from the main street. Not so many foods type s are available at breakfast. Restaurants not really available nearby.

Excellent!

The staff were fantastic. So friendly and accommodating. I am especially grateful to Valentina for arranging a taxi for me when my bus from the airport dropped me far from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent--I really appreciated the variety and excellence of food.

I like a very firm bed, but my mattress was downright hard. A mattress topper would have made it just right. This is a minor complaint in an otherwise marvelous stay.

Breakfast was great and the hotel ambience excellent. The variaty of food was great. The hotel staff were always very helpful. When we arrived in the morning, rooms were made available before the official check in time.

Charming property, excellent staff.

Wonderful hotel , charmingly decorated with antique furniture and beautiful spaces. Exceptional staff who go way beyond to make you feel welcome and are extremely helpful. A beautifully renovated 100 year old building. We stayed in the suite which had a big beautiful balcony. Had a very comfortable stay.

Tea, coffee making facilities not present in the room . Even though the staff was extremely nice and catered to our need every time we requested, wish there was a kettle and cups with tea/coffee in the rooms which is present in nearly every hotel around the world! Phone extension on the lower floor in the suite. Also , breakfast could be better with more variety.

If you are a fan of old hotels then this is your place. Like you were in 70-80's era of setting. I dont like it when hotel pillows has a smell. The hotel does need some refurbishment. It is okay to be old but cosmetic works need to be done as well in order to maintain an old building. Floor carpet is very tired.

The hard boiled eggs on our first day of breakfast is half of the yolk is grey and eggwhite is starting to be rubbery. I opened three in half without eating it so that the server can see that it doesnt look palatable. Its overcooked.

Excellent Choice in Catania

This place is great -- a beautiful hotel with an extremely friendly staff. It's definitely more traditional than modern, which we really enjoyed. Our room was quiet and had a nice big bathroom. Breakfast was abundant -- definitely something for everyone. They also have a food/cocktail menu so you can enjoy a treat any time of the day.

Hmm, there were pesky mosquitoes around -- not in our room, fortunately, but on the main floor (during breakfast, cocktails, etc.). I realize this isn't really the hotel's fault, but it might help if they made efforts to alleviate them.

Superb

Stylish, well-placed hotel, very helpful staff.

Beautiful Art Deco hotel located within walking distance of the city centre. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. We had some excellent reccommendations from the Concierge for concerts, eating out. Lovely large bathroom.

The room was not overly large but for three nights was fine. Breakfast good though not the best we had during our trip.
