1st wedding anniversary

I loved that they were thoughtful to do a decoration of our bed because it was our anniversary the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. My wife loved it very much . And the cake of course they gave us a cake. Awesome Awesome. We'd definitely be back. Lol

Nice hotel with excellent staff members.

The lobby and the staff at the Lagos Marriot Hotel Ikeja are the wow factor. The staff are incredibly courteous especially the housekeeping team. A real customer oriented team. They always provided fresh towels before you asked which was really convenient. The bar in the lobby area was also lovely especially for a nice cup of tea and muffins.

The rooms are a little smaller than similar hotels in the area and considering the Marriot is the more expensive option in the Ikeja GRA area, this was a bit of a disappointment. Also, I chose to stay here instead of another hotel as I was hoping the Marriot, as the newer hotel would be nicer. It isnt. It is clear that considerable money has been spent but maintenance has not been great. The toilet seat and wash basin had stains in them as did the bath tub. All in all, its in my opinion a nice hotel but not for the price point.

First bad experience at Marriott Ikeja

Room standards in terms of cleanliness and state of the room.

Room quality is poor. Service was poor. Called reception for several minutes and no response. They called back after 40 minutes to say they didn't have enough hands.

Perfect base for work, play and rest

Luxurious on every level. Very attentive staff. Security conscious environment. Loved the bathroom the most, having a bath was perfect after a long tiring day. Access to the lounge was a much used bonus.
