Good hotel for what you pay, its a simple stay if you are looking for a 15 minute walk to downtown.

Hotel was relatively near the Riverwalk and Alamodome, we were able to walk. San Antonio has done a good job connecting this side of I-35 to downtown with well lit streets and wide sidewalks. It is quite possible to leave your car at the hotel and walk downtown. The hotel is a good price for what you get, a simple stay, free parking, a good bed and clean bathroom.

The neighborhood around the hotel is kind of sketchy, I guess that is why the parking lot is so well lit and there are security cameras to ensure that nothing happens to the cars parked at the hotel.

Great value. Excellent location. Very peaceful rest spot.

The property is very modern, clean, free parking and about 1 mile away from the downtown Riverwalk. Easy walk! It was very peaceful and restful sleep. The neighborhood is quiet. The staff at the Hacienda is very friendly, helpful and manages this Inn very well. Highly recommend.

Rooms were clean, place was quiet. Not impressed at first but ended up feeling comfortable and safe. Which is very important at any place

Excellent value, close to downtown

Quick check-in, very helpful front desk personnel. Room was of the expected size, really enjoyed the rustic decor and feel to the whole building and the individual room. Firm bed, comfortable AC, no issues with bathroom, cleanliness or WiFi. Location is less than a 5 minute drive from the riverwalk, public bus can be boarded across the street. You could definitely walk to the Alamodome if needed. All in all a great option very close to downtown.

Be aware that there is no breakfast, public lobbies or any other frills like pool, gym, etc. I did not need them and thus this was a perfect option for my trip, your needs may be different. The area surrounding the hotel feels a bit on the unsafe side at night. We had zero issues though, just an overall observation.
