The property is a heritage bungalow built in 1896 and has been the house for some very significant persons from history including Ms Vijay Lakshmi Pandit, Mahatma Gandhi to name a few. The opportunity to stay at such a place was a great feeling. The property is owned by Mr. Himanshu Pandey who treats all guests as family and conversations at the dining hall is nothing short of a cozy family dinner. The food is home cooked meals that does not make ones stomach heavy but when we left the property our hearts were full with joy and warmth.

Very good property to live in the lap of nature with simple and tasty food. Value for money.

Food was simple and delicious with balanced spices and easily digestive.

some upgradations needed , like room service facilities, room furniture and bathroom renovation.

The food is good in general, but could be less spicy and not so much oriented on Indian visitors only. But chef is good, friendly and understanding. Location is great, nature and silence are wonderful. However, if you want to visit other attractions in the area, you should be ready for a very uncomfortable fact that "Khali estate" is located in Binsar Wildlife sanctuary and the gates are closed at sunset. Location is absolutely great for those who need total isolation from the rest of the world for a few days. We saw lots of birds very near and also a hare and a marten.

Great hospitality. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was simple and delicious.

Its hard to sport anything we didnt like. The property is beautiful in the middle of the greenery. Kudos to the staff for following up on special requests timely and ensuring a memorable stay for us.

Suggested telco connection is JIO or BSNL as Airtel doesnt work too well. This is not a negative for the property.

lovely staff, very kind, friendly, and attentive. The setting is great, quiet, and magical. the surroundings were nice too.

the food was a bit blah. I wish they served more local cuisine instead of the staple north India / Delhi food. the beds and pillows are not the most comfortable.

Stay Away From The Property

The most pathetic experience I have ever had in my life. They took the booking through booking.com, when reached the place, the whole property was closed. Only one guard, who was not aware of our arrival. He spoke to the manager who also had no knowledge of the booking. The whole property had no guest for the past 30 days, I don't understand how booking.com entertains these unprofessional hotels and resorts without any verification.

Location was wonderful The staff was very friendly,warm and willing Always smiling and very obliging Was initially sceptical about the veg food but once at the location we couldnt be bothered..the veg food was excellent..nothing to complain about

Wish we had Wi-Fi Out of the world We will definitely return and we have recommended the place to all our contacts
