The game drive was out of this world and the rangers (John and Petrus) made it even more special. The kids bonded with them immediately and we spent 4 memorable days there

If I want to be very picky, as it was very hot, there could have been 2 a/cs in out family room as the fan from the main a/c did not reach the kids bed on the other side of the room. Also, would have been refreshing to have fresh fruit juice instead of canned ones. But this is being very demanding!

The staff made the experience even more unforgettable

We decided to go to Kapama Rover Lodge to celebrate my birthday and certainly picked the right place. Location is very close to Hoedspruit airport but we never sensed it in any way during our stay and we had an outstanding time there. The 2 daily game drives (3 hrs each) with Vulan and Humphrey were a great experience. Their ability led us to spot the Big5 in just 3 days. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful (s/o to Rodney and Erasmus) with good and generous food and drink options.

Outstanding service

The service is beyond everything I've experienced so far: incredible food (a varied menu every day), staff in the restaurants, game drives, room cleanliness etc. Everyone at Kamapa is incredibly friendly and kind. A special shout out to our tracker and our driver, Michael and Mary, which were great to us and went the extra mile for our group to see the Big 5 and many other surprises in the game drives. We had some memories we won't forget - a heartfelt thanks from Debora and Renato :)

Nothing to complain, everything exceeded our expectations. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool facilities, but that's on us.

Trip of a lifetime

Safari of a lifetime - staff are great, guides are excellent (Harry and Tony our guide and tracker were the best guys and made our trip) and the food and drinks are all top class. All communal areas were exquisite and recently all renovated

Half the property has undergone rook upgrades and half I believe are due soon - the older rooms are still wonderful but all being as luxury as the new ones would be great

Amazing Safari in a stunning place

Kapama is absolutely beautiful throughout all areas. The dinning areas and the pools are stunning. The food is amazing so thoughtfully considered and well presented. The people at Kapama do everything to make you welcome and ensure that you enjoy your stay. Thanks to our ranger Brendan and tracker Clement for excellent safaris and looking after us.
