You get what you pay for, and this is cheap so knew what to expect.

Great room with a huge private terrace for a good discount price. Very centrally located just a short walk from the beach and easy to get a taxi from just around the corner to head up to the main centre.

The reception staff was a little blunt and unhelpful insisting on us leaving the key, without a safe in the room, this didn't feel great. Also, the grouping of keys and power controller for the air-conditioning unit meant it was impossible to leave the cool air running so the room was an unbearable oven upon returning to the room.

the only positive thing with this hotel is location and view.

Location was good

Staff was rude, not oriented on supporting us as clients. They were not answering phone and was postponing all requests and questions we ask about facilities, extra blanket and so on. we would not recommend this place to anybody. rooms are very old, bathroom facilities also quite old and not comfortable. the staff attitude was disgusting

We enjoyed our stay

The balcony with the view were exceptional, breakfast was good, friendly staff, location was perfect! Everything was clean.

It is a bit expensive if you have a car, you must add 15 euros per day for a nearby well secured parking. Beds could be a little bit more confortable.

Very pleasant hotel in Mazzaro

Very pleasant hotel in Mazzaro (not in Taormina) very close to the cable car to Taormina (which costs 10 Euros return per person, so not a cheap daily journey). The hotel building is beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are very basic but very clean and they get cleaned every day. We unfortunately didn't get a room with a view to the ocean as none of those rooms with a view was available so with got one of the room of the back with a little terrace, view to a wall. I would imagine that the rooms with a view have an amazing view. We didn't include breakfast as we don't like to rush breakfast in the mornings so I can't comment on the breakfast but I believe that finishes around 10am. The lady in the reception is very nice and friendly :) Very lovely couple of beaches can be reached going downstairs by a LONG stone staircase so not great for mobility issues people. Not many bars or restaurants in Mazzaro, just a few and not brilliant ones and other couple or so in the beach. All the best vibes, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are up in Taormina.

The return the electricity key every time you leave the room so you can't leave anything charging in the room, such mobile phones etc, and anything that needs charging unless you are in the room :( The shower in our room was also very small. The view from the terrace in the back rooms, is not really a view to a garden.

Very central and beautiful location, view frim the balcony was amazing! Clean, quiet. So friendly lady in the front desk, she made me feel ost welcome! <3
