Very good

The ocean view from the room. The kindness of the stuff. The authenticity of the place and the amazing location perfect for Whale Shark swimming. The efficiency of the stuff in organising our activities and transport.

Their breakfast service takes a bit too long. But it is included in the price, so I would say for the value it is okay. Portions are tiny for the restaurant. There are no slippers provided. It would be useful.

Such a pleasurable experience

Staff were helpful, friendly and very polite. They helped us to arrange few activities. The food served was delicious . Bed was comfortable. Service excellent!

They should care more about the environment and place their garbage properly. As well as incentive to keep their space clean. Through the trip, we observed lots of trash being thrown out in the sea, and the driver provided also throwing trash on the street. It was disappointing! They could also have more options on the menu, like cheese sandwiches or different kinds of snacks.

We were there to swim with the whale sharks. They had a great service. I recommend going at 4:30 am. Sign up takes its time and it's really crowded in the morning. After registration you have time to grab some breakfast before going into the water at 7am (so take some extra money). We were back at the hotel at 8 am. We had enough time to take a shower, have breakfast and pack before making our way to Siquijor. This is possible via Dumaguete (ferry at 2pm to Siquijor). The staff was helpful explaining the journey to us. For us it was a good option to stay the night instead of going via tour.

The hotel itself is not the best place we stayed in but the best we've seen in Oslob. The town itself seemed dead with little food options. Also the beach is not great. I regret staying in the native hut since the ocean was really lowed at night.

Just for the whale shark watching

Nice position, right two steps from the sea. Well managed tour of whale shark watching with transfer arranged from the hotel to the site in a couple of minutes

Room and bathroom seemed a bit better in the description. Super loud music just metres away from the bed if you sleep early to get up at 4 am maybe not so sleep-friendly

Pleasant

Great location makes up for average everything else.

Fabulous beachfront location. Convenient access to the whale shark centre. Good swimming and snorkeling. Friendly staff. We'd stay here again.

Cats and dogs in the dining area. Many menu items not available. Food very basic and a little overpriced. The great location seems to mean they don't need to try all that hard.

We enjoyed our stay..nice & relaxing with big rooms for the family to stay in. Nice friendly staff.

I like the friendly staff & for them to try their best to deliver what we requested.

The shower is terrible, has no pressure & hot water is on & off. And no fridge.

Close to the whale sharks

We chose this accomodation because it is close to the whale shark watching in Oslob. Staff was really nice. We dont have enough time to explore area, but I think there are many things to do (waterfalls etc.).

Highly recommended, returning for a longer staycation.

Loved this accommodation. It is the rustic and local kind that made me feel that I am in the country. Beautiful sunrise in front of my room. Owner and staff very accommodating and organized; client oriented. Considering to return for a four-week staycation. We felt safe and secure. The tourism industry in this area is very well organized with all of the staff cooperating very well with each other.

We loved the rustic flair, which for some may not be their kind of accommodation.
