Shortage of porters . Also , we pay extra 150 euro for upgrading room with lounge ! Lounge was bad , few choices , everyday same , dirty , nobody coming for cleaning .. one time we come at 9 pm , lounge was dirty , tables was with empty bottles of beer , no food , big miss

Old fashioned luxury in Salzburg

Everything was great. The location was convenient next to the Mirabell gardens. The staff were very helpful. The room had all the necessary features, including a nespresso machine, which is always a plus.

The only two negatives that stood out were the breakfast and the shower. The breakfast selection was nice but the eggs were exceptionally oily, though this might just be personal prefernce. The shower in our room was very exposed. It is probably ok if you are intimately familiar with your roommate. Some friends sharing may not find it comfortable though.

Outstanding and a highlight of our travels.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! My husband and I can't speak highly enough of this fabulous hotel. The moment we walked in the door, we felt welcome. The staff were exceptional; friendly, considerate and helpful. We loved all the extra touches, including the staff wearing traditional Austrian dress, Mozart ball chocolates on the bedside table at night, Austrian Manner biscuits with our coffee/tea in our room, different chocolates or lollies in the foyer each day, the chef making omelettes/fried eggs, etc. to your liking, in front of you; being greeted at breakfast and having a coffee/tea made for you, having such a wide array of delicious options for breakfast, hotel located within walking distance of all the main tourist areas in town - just to name a few of the delights of this hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Salzburg in the future. During our six weeks visit to Europe, we stayed in ten hotels and our five nights at the Hyperion Hotel in Salzburg was an absolute standout!

Lovely Hotel and well located close to the Train station and the town center.

The rooms were nice and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect , good choice on the buffet

only suggestion is to add more wardrobe space as its too less.

Quiet luxury

Very luxurious from the moment you step in. Professional front desk staff, definitely well-trained to handle guests. Gave us a free upgrade to the suite which is incredible - huge room and ample shower / bathroom counter space. Breakfast spread is excellent.
