great stay!

great location to the shops & free bus to town

15/20 mins down hill walk to town & of course thats up hill home! free bus every 30 mins during the day and once an hour at night - no taxis really in the alps without pre booking in advance

Perfect ski-in-ski-out hotel

Breakfast at La Grande Lanire is impeccable! Location is great, there is literally a ski lift right in front of the hotel. When there is enough snow, you can ski right to the front door. A very comfortable stay.

Quiet / button lift right outside so straight onto slopes

A bit of a walk into the village .. there is a shuttle bus but waiting around in -10 gets a bit cold

Disappointing given the price, despite good location and staff.

Location next to ski slopes, good breakfast and friendly staff. it was a (not unpleasant) walk into town which we did most evenings and there is a free bus which we also used.

Our bedroom was a big disappointment. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and we were lucky that our son who was with us had a room with a good shower next door as we had a very small, unusable bath with handheld shower and ended up using his. No tea or coffee making facilities, and we didnt realise breakfast was not included. I have paid much less for better.
