Would absolutely go back here if came back to Salzburg.

The hotel is a short walk from the old town and was a very good value for a family looking for 2 connected rooms with 2 queen beds (1 bed in each room). Extremely charming and friendly greeting. And free cookies in the lobby (though this might just be a holiday thing). Several cafes very close by one of which opened at 7:30am for breakfast. About a 10-15 minutes walk from the train station that was easy to do with roller suitcases.

Property was a touch dated but we viewed that as charming (other might want something that was newer).

This is a traditional, Austrian hotel with friendly staff!

The location is very good if you want to experience life in Salzburg, not a touristy place. This is a very Austrian hotel that has the old keys, but it does have a lift! The value is great, especially if you want to experience the Christmas Markets and walk to the city center, not far at all. Garage parking is very close and inexpensive because the hotel gives you a discount. There are several very good, local restaurants nearby and they're not overrun by tourists. I've stayed here several times over the years.

Pleasant stay but expensive for the price.

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The hotel is located at a walking distance from the old town which made it well placed.

Basic facilities like electric kettle, instant coffee in the room were missing which made the regular early morning coffee schedule a bit painful as I was asked to come to reception to get hot water and then take it to the room myself.

The staff was really really friendly, the room is comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!

Nothing. Is not in old town where most of the attractions are, but not a long walk (not more than 10 minutes or so)

Good hotel, excellent staff, good location.

Very friendly and helpful staff, always greeted with a smile. Clean and quiet room. Good location. Good closet space. Very good restaurants nearby, especially Pasta & Vino.

Using the shower over the bath was a hassle - difficult to get into, not the best positioning of showerhead, and it took a few days to figure out how to shower without partially flooding the floor. Room was a bit cramped, and lighting could be improved. All minor niggles, in an otherwise excellent stay.
