Hotel in the city centre with great value for money

The staff was wery nice and helpful, rooms were big, clean and tidy. Hotel is located in the city centre, few minutes from the beach and supermarket. The restaurants are everywhere around the hotel. The breakfast was really tasty.

There is nothing to be complained about. It is wery hard to park the car anywhere in the city centre but it is not the issue of the hotel. If you want to park nearby you need to book the parking.

Worse place ever

The noise is very loud and its hard to fall asleep. We needed to ask for help because we lost a wallet and when we asked for the night receptionist, he was very rude to us and even treated to punch us after accusing us of making noise. We were not the ones making noise but another bedroom. Worse experience ever, I have never gone through something like this in years traveling and several countries. I would tell everyone to go on a different hotel, anything can be better than this one.

Bed was a little hard. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. The parking was underground and very tight to move in and out of it.

Thank you again to the staff at Astoria for accommodating me while I worked in Puerto de la Cruz! This is a great hotel, it has a kind of vintage European feel, and they keep it so clean and the reception staff is lovely. Location is 10/10. I'm sure I'll be back and it would be my first choice of hotel in Puerto.

Superb

There was an extensive breakfast menu with continental, Spanish and healthy options. The receptionist staff were very helpful in giving directions with the help of hotel maps.

A very pleasant hotel at a very competitive price.

Location, price, cleanliness

Organisation of breakfast. You had to book the night before and choose between 3 alternatives. The eggs and bacon were served on a tiny plate which made it almost impossible to eat without spilling it on the table. A simple breakfast buffet would be preferable - maybe with extra charges for cooked things ordered on the day
