I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Crown Pegasus during my visit to Shillong, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! First and foremost, the cleanliness of the rooms was impressive. The attention to detail in maintaining a spotless environment made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The proximity to the main market was a huge convenience, allowing me to explore the heart of Shillong effortlessly. The hospitality at Hotel Crown Pegasus truly sets it apart. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, providing a warm reception that included a variety of welcome foods and drinks. What a fantastic way to start my stay! Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Shillong souvenir, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to my visit. Despite the ongoing renovations, the hotel managed to ensure a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. While some areas were undergoing improvements, it did not significantly impact the overall positive experience. The prices were reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and amenities provided.

Friendly staff, clean room!

What I liked the most about my stay is the staff. The level of service I received has been the best so far in my time in India. They are very attentive and are extremely hospitable. The food was great, the room was perfect! Its clean, beds are comfortable, theres hot water for the shower, the place is in a great location. I strongly recommend this hotel and I would definitely visit again. If you are traveling from outside of India, be aware that booking.com does not pay the properties.. Credit or debit cards may not work either so just be prepared to pay cash just in case. Also, be aware that there are taxes added to the amount it shows on this site, which is understandable but just good to know when you arrive. There are plenty of ATMs around the area and lots to do. I wanted to explore the beauty of Meghalaya and the hotel staff recommended an amazing driver who I strongly recommended as well. His name is Kitbok, make sure to ask for him as he is knowledgeable about the area!

The hotel is in a prime location but right now the property is under renovation. They have been taking booking without informing the guest and even my payment was swiped from card before i check in . There are no facilities now currently. everything right now is mismanaged . The owner is quite manipulative and kind of bribed us to get a good review.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel seems to have 2 wings. I stayed in the newly renovated wing in a huge spacious room. Ravi at the reception was very helpful with things like booking a taxi, arranging breakfast in the room. August is there to help you with luggage. Very cheerful guys and always find him with a smile. Overall my stay was good as the location is near the ward lake and we loved visiting that lake. All restaurants are nearby to have anything. I really loved the mattress as it was way much better than 5 star hotels. One suggestion for the hotel owner to train staff in the kitchen and also the servers. They bring one thing then go missing while bringing another thing. The hotel breakfast was okay in taste. Although the staff tried their best to bring so much for breakfast but food taste can be improved. Thank you so much.
