Hotel Paris Prague

We absolutely loved our stay. It was utterly magical in every way, and this hotel and room is one of the best places I've stayed anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived to the moment, we left, staff were professional, warm, accommodating, helpful. From the moment we first booked, we were looked after. It was our first time in Prague and we had requested a room overlooking the Old Town - and they held this request for nine months before we arrived. It was stunning. The hotel itself and its Deco decor is superb - from the exterior through reception, the restaurant and bar, the breakfast room. Our room was accessed via a retro elevator with self-opening glass door, and the hallways and shared spaces were always beautifully presented, even when cleaning staff were around. Our room was just divine, traditionally decorated and spotless, with two large windows overlooking the Old Town. A hand-written note, chocolates and a large bottle of sparking water was waiting for us on a table by the windows. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of surface space, a decent sized fridge, plenty of storage and space for suitcases. The bathroom was large with blue and white tiling - like something out of a 1930s movie. Wifi was great, the room was quiet, cleaning services was discreet and fabulous. We felt comfortable asking for a certain type of tea in the room and it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was included and it was delicious with great coffee, juices, water, and a large variety of food and lovely staff. My only complaint is that the scrambled eggs were always a bit on the cool side. The hotel is super central, which was important to us as we walked everywhere. We just loved our stay and can't wait to visit Prague again - not only because it's an exquisite town, but because we want to experience Hotel Paris Prague again.

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and upon arrival the hotel had arranged a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates. They gave us a beautiful corner room with a balcony. The very friendly and competent staff assisted us with a choice of restaurants and made the reservations. We enjoyed their art deco restaurant Tonys Caf and Bar with live piano music from Thursday to Saturday 7pm-10pm. We highly recommend their beef goulash, beef fillet, club sandwich with French fries, the chocolate by death Paris cake and the decadent Apfel Strudle with vanilla sauce, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It was the best Apfel Strudel we have eaten in Prague. We spent one afternoon in their Spa and enjoyed the steam bath, sauna and whirlpool. The location of the hotel was perfect. Walking distance to the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Klementinum and the clock tower with a stunning view over the whole of Prague. Public transport is also on your doorstep. On the day of departure Monika phoned our taxi driver to inform he was only a few minutes away for pickup to the airport. Everything added to a most memorable magical romantic experience in Prague.
