Perfect place for a visit and ski day around Innsbruck!

A simple but well-equipped room, very nice view, no noise from outside. The breakfast buffet is really good with sweet and salty food. the staff is very friendly and the location is perfect, within walking distance from the old town. + a room for ski material

The room was clean, comfortable, good size, breakfast fabulous, friendly staff and excellent location being easy walking distance of Innsbruck old town.

Excellent Location, Fabulous Breakfast

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Hotel Engl. Not only is this location close to Old Town, a shortcut through the park about 2 blocks away takes you quickly over the Inn River and right into Old Town by the Otto House. Very easy. We liked that the parking was free and even though it was about a block up the street, it was easy, convenient and secure. One can unload in front of the hotel and then drive on to the underground lot. We had a twin room on the 3rd floor (American 3rd floor) but the elevator was quick and smooth. Our room was the standard size, the bathroom a little small but very workable and clean. We had a room facing the main street and next time, I would ask for a quieter room in the back as we wanted the windows open at night (October) and it was a big noisy, but we slept well. This is an older hotel, but very pleasant and good for Innsbruck. The breakfast was and always is fantastic with many cheeses, fruits, meats, hot foods, drinks, cereals, etc. The pastry choices were excellent. The owners are very friendly and helpful, too. We would stay there again.
