Pleasant

Great location but outdated

The hotel has a great location, within walking distance to the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The easy to use metro station is also not that far.

The hotel is very outdated. It's only the premium rooms that have been redone, the rest of the standard rooms are in need of an upgrade. I feel the pictures on their page is a bit deceiving, giving you the idea that the hotel is very modern.

Exceptional

Perfect stay in Milan.

The location is perfect. Two stops on the M3 from Central Station and within walking distance of La Scala, The Cathedral, museums, malls and everything you could want. The staff was great. Breakfast was good. Daily housekeeping was a surprise. No one does that anymore. And the water power in the shower was wonderful.

Disappointing

Good for location but not value of money at all.

Location only

The hotel was so outdated. For a suite I expected to atleast get 2 bottles of water each day and they only give it to you on the first day and charge for the rest. I stayed there for 5 days and every morning, which was too early for guests on a holiday, the cleaning lady would only give 1 knock and barge into the room without waiting for a second for a response. The bed as well, though I mentioned king/queen size, I got 2 single beds joined together. The hotel in general is too outdated and needs an upgrade!

I totally recommend hotel Cavour in Milan, because it's right in the heart of the city, closeby to the best stores, restaurants, cafes and only 10 minutes approximately of pleasant walking , from Duomo. The staff is very polite and the rooms comfortable and elegant. And last but not least.. perfect breakfast!
