Great views, our family enjoyed our stay. Would come back here again if we have the chance...

Excellent location, the view was amazing and if your are skiing - right near the Bodmi ski area. Room was clean with a great view. Breakfast (and food in general) was delicious with a nice selection. Bus stop is just in front of hotel as well. Would definitely recommend this especially if you want to have beginner ski lessons as Bodmi Arena is just in front...

Access to convenience store/groceries - need to go to town (which is 1 bus ride away). Also wish breakfast could be earlier like 6:30am (though officially it's 7:30am, twice we went about 15 mins early and breakfast was already open)

The staff is very helpful and friendly, both at the reception and the kitchen. The apartment was very cleanly maintained and location was great.

Nice place, amazing views

It is a very nice hotel. Good and helpful hosts. Room was spotless clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is ok. The best feature of the hotel is the view! Only thing was that pur room was on the opposite side of the Eiger so we just got the glimpse of it, but ofc, you can always go out on the restaurant terrace and enjoy it. There is a nice ski room so you can leave your stuff there to dry after skiing. There are busses that go to Grindelwald and back, but the last bus is around 7 pm so in that case you need to walk to the hotel.. which is a very steep, but nice walk of 15 mins. Wifi is a bit weak. We also liked that there was a coffee machine in the room.

Breakfast should be a bit earlier than 7:30, for the people that want to go skiing as early as possible. Ski areas open at 8, and to reach any of it you need to take a bus/car, so with breakfast at 7:30 you basically can not ski before 9 ( due to commuting and queues at the gondolas)

Beautiful location and hotel, even better management

Absolutely beautiful hotel run by kind, caring and really patient and helpful staff. We loved the breakfast on the terrace each morning, including because they varied some parts of the menu each day and everything was so fresh and made with such high quality ingredients. The apartment was also spotless and much bigger than expected. I loved the location too. It was so peaceful and scenic, but only a 10 minute walk to the main gondolas and coop (although up some very steep hills, which was a little difficult with a double pram, but we made it work!). Whilst Switzerland is expensive compared to other European destinations, I walked away thinking the property as a whole was good value when compared to other options in Grindelwald, and I cannot wait to come back for both summer and winter.
