Perfect stay for visiting Wrocaw

The hotel was perfect. Great location, spacious room, pampering bath and cosy spa. The breakfast was also rich and delicious.

The only thing I fan think of is that the temperature control is a bit of a hassle - its a mix of AC and heating which can only be controlled by a main board, and the room is mostly either too cold or too warm.

Fabulous building, excellent reception staff and beautiful room. All staff we encountered were attentive and welcoming. Every where was immaculately clean. The location is excellent.

Expensive to eat or have drinks in. Bar closed during our whole stay. We asked multiple times about the bar and were either told it would be open the next day or was currently open. It was closed due to a technical error which was fine and staff always checked when we sat in the area behind reception if we wanted a drink which was nice but realistically guests should be informed when facilities aren't available.

Next time we will request a room away from the street where the trams run.

Everything was excellent. Room, breakfast, staff, location!

The room we stayed in was on the street side. The tram started running at 4:A.M. Some noise.

Disappointing

New 5 star hotel in Wroclaw that still needs to improve in some respects

Unfortunately I can only recommend this hotel under certain conditions. Enclosed is my personal review of a 4 nights stay in the Palace Junior Suite no 219 second floor in Hotel Altus Palace. From many years of travel experience in high end hotels, I have a good comparison and know what to expect . At this level of the hotel category guests are more demanding and expect almost perfection. Positive facts Design - 10 points Location - 10 points Restaurant: Dinner | Breakfast | Waiters in the restaurant - 10 points I can confirm that the pictures on the booking pages correspond 100% to what you will find on site.

Negative facts Unfortunately this hotel definitely does not deserve 5 stars in the following points: Hotel staff - 7 points Not really a warm welcome at the arrival - nobody asked if I had a good journey etc. I also had to bring my luggage into the room myself, no bellboy offered me help - what a shame for a 5 star hotel ! During the stay some members of the reception staff was partly unprofessional & not really customer oriented but some staff members were kind, professional and helpful. Cleanliness / Housekeeping - 3 points Almost catastrophic in terms of cleanliness: in 4 days the floor in the entire suite wasn't even swept or mopped. Dead flies on the windowsill, towels weren't always completely replaced, dressing drawers weren't clean and the shelves were sticky. When I entered the room for the first time upon arrival there was still dirt from the previous guests on the floor. The cherry on top was that the toilet wasn't clean either. The first impression counts and is the decisive one for the guest and it is not normal that when you arrive in a 5 star hotel you have to immediately beg the reception so that the cleaning lady comes back to clean the toilet. Mattress quality 3 points The mattress is definitely too hard in my opinion and you almost feel like you are lying on a board. In summary, this hotel scores points with its location, good restaurant for dinner and the beautiful interior/design the rest corresponds to a maximum 4 star hotel.

Perfect location for Xmas markets. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice. Sauna and jacuzzi were amazing. Room service and food was lovely.

No complaints it was fabulous.
