We enjoyed a lovely Christmas in the cottage, the only thing I would suggest would be to ensure kitchen and bathroom are

Great location only a few minutes drive from great walks and from Lymington. Secure garden for the dogs and a larger semi secure garden, although the weather was poor so we didnt really get to enjoy this. Large drive for multiple cars. Lovely Christmas tree. Well stocked kitchen utensils, and oil/spices etc. Owners were very helpful when we had questions about the property, even though it was Christmas time.

A little rough around the edges regarding decor, and the property was slightly musty - but difficult in an old property - an air freshener could have helped. Also, the cleanliness of the kitchen was lacking - we had to clean the oven pans, fridge and freezer when we arrived unfortunately.

Brilliant break for us exactly what we wanted to relax. Fields, Forest, Beach and Town all in

location was great and having a beautiful horse greeting you every morning when you went outside for a cup of coffee is just brilliant. It was only a short walk (footpath) to an open area with lots of walk and many wild horses.

Loved it! Secluded but well connected.

The location is fantastic as a base for exploring the town, seaside and New Forest. Our week long stay flew by. The cottage is a lovely retreat, the feeling of seclusion whilst being relatively connected. It felt wild and remote and a little gem of a place. Saying that the driveway and garden are very spacious and we enjoyed alot of time enjoying both the cottage and its gardens. We took our ooni oven and made pizzas together outside and our kids loved the swing and hammock. I side we had a spacious lounge and use of on demand telly to.

There wasn't much phone signal which made it tricky to call for a take away. But could order online or drive to nearby lymington. We made use of WhatsApp to communicate with the outside world.

Superb property and caring, responsive owners.

Absolutely gorgeous property with everything you could want for a relaxed holiday break. Owners very responsive to a last minute booking to rescue a needed family break after another holiday collapsed.

Nothing. If I want a break in the New Forest again, I will be look to book this property again.

New forest family adventures in a cozy cottage, stargazing and night and waking up to the sounds of the forest and a mor

The outside area was a great size and so well equipped for families. The friendly horse in the backfield absolutely made if for us. The glamping room was a big hit with the kids for nighttime stargazing and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. Location was perfect for venturing in to the New forest. Kitchen has everything that was needed and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable and cottage was extremely child friendly. Plenty of parking space

Certain area of the cottage were not as clean as we would have liked particularly the bathroom and kitchen. So we spent some time cleaning it on our first night there, fortunately the cleaning cupboard was well stocked so we were able to do this without issue. Road is busy and noisy if youre in the garden but we spent most of the day long exploring the new forest and it quieter at night and be aware it tricky pulling in and out of the driveway.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area

Very cosy house in the beautiful countryside of the New Forest. The house had everything we needed and there was a lovely horse too! Good for kids as well. They had a few games and toys around. Very spacious.

We could hear the road next to the house in the morning, but it didnt bother us very much. Driving onto the road from the site can be a little bit challenging.

Very good

Pretty location, lovely outdoor space and cosy inside the cottage. Good shower and beds.

It was hard to walk from the cottage because of its location on a fairly busy road. Obviously the owners can't change this but it's worth noting if you like to walk to pubs etc. There was no washing up cloth so we had to buy one, and a towel from previous occupants had been left hanging on the back of a bedroom door!

Superb

Holly tree cottage is cute little place in a great location for exploring the New forest.

Holly tree cottage is cute little place with a spacious garden. The cottage in a perfect location for exploring the New forest. We loved sitting outside the glamping area looking out on the countryside spotting the wildlife.

The driveway is a little secluded and narrow and so we missed it on a few occasions. However there are places to turn around if you do.
